Hey im building a tesla coil and i need some help.

 

Will the attached file work for the secondary coil?

 

Will i have to strip the wire first?

 

Also any general tips on safety or otherwise is highly encouraged.. I have rubber gloves.. biggrin.png

Search for "day Tesla coil" in YouTube for directions. Best to use a battery for power, rather than AC from your house, for safety. Select plans that use battery power, if there are any.
