Activation temperature propane/air combustion

Featured Replies

Hi everybody,

I am currently doing CFD simulations of turbulent premixed flames. To test a combustion model on propane/air flames, I need the value of the activation temperature of propane/air combustion and, so far, I was not able to find it in the litterature.

I have the value of this parameter for hydrogen (13000 K) and methane (20000 K).

Does anyone could give me this value?

Regards,

Corentin

I found activation energy and ignition temperature on the web, but not activation temperature. Please post a link that defines activation temperature, or post the definition. TYVM.
