For example does the thick monsoon that covers India in the summer would mean that India experience less UVA then let's say an European country which would be under a clean sky, bright sun? The old wives' tale that it is possible to get sunburnt on a cloudy day has a strong basis in fact. Clouds are opaque to visible light. Much less so to UV. There are occasions where ultraviolet radiation under cloudy conditions can exceed clear sky values. Google "broken cloud effect" and "cloud enhancement of UV" for more.
