This is a bit weird, Their are less than 60 people on the site and it says there are 283 viewing general!

It doesn't seem to be resetting itself when someone stops viewing.

or all the guests are viewing it

their were less tha 60 including all the guests. Anyway, the problem is gone now.

It was just a spike in bot traffic.

I don't believe thats true, Sayo. I tested this several times, I clicked on the General link, then went back and refreshed. Each time the viewer count was up by one and one only. Do bots register as guests?

Yes.

Then your theory doesn't make sense, because I checked the current stats right before and right after I posted and each time it said only 51 guests and 6 users.

In that case it was probably accumulating without being reset, so I'd go with the 'glitch' assessment.
