scilearner Posted May 23, 2013 Share Posted May 23, 2013 Hi, Is it because around central vein, there is only deoxygenated blood from the vein where as in the periphery there is hepatic artery. Thus the tissue around the central vein gets the last picking from the blood. 27 minutes discusses this.
