Books suggestions for the common man that involve quantum physics?

Featured Replies

For our physics class we are supposed to pick a book to read then present it to class.

Are there any easy to understand books (for a layman), under 250 pages, that doesn't really delve into the mathematics part of the physics, but the conceptual part? I've always loved this kind of science but I can't understand it because of the level of math and science I am at right now.

The mathematical part *is* the conceptual part. The popsci versions of physics are like the Wishbone versions of literature. The one exception to the rule that I know of is "The Theoretical Minimum" by Susskind, but it doesn't delve into QM; that's his next volume.
