Photons And Electromagnetic Waves

Featured Replies

How many photons correspond to a single electromagnetic wave? Is there more than one photon for each wave?

It depends on the energy flux of the beam and the wavelength.

You need to divide the energy flux by the energy of a single photon to find the photon flux. There was a thread recently where this was discussed.
