PM system fault

Featured Replies

there is an option is the user cp to get a 'Show New Private Message Notification Pop-up' i enabled this option and so whenever i get a new PM i get a popup box saying do you wanna see it (the PM) and do you wanna open it in a new window?

i have had this option ticked for a while and now and NONE of the options in the pop-up boxes work!

i cant make them display the message and i cant make em open a new window to display it.

if no one else has this problem then it is probably just a firewall or anti-spyware thing, but thought i'd point it out and see if it is a programming fault or an end-user (me!) fault.

Are you using a browser that can block all pop-ups, or pop-ups from specific sites?

yeah, im using the most advance secure browser EVER.... it's called internet explorer!!! (oh crap, here comes the onslaught! - i havent installed firefox since the format).

nah, but i do have a decent powerful firewall up and a on-access or real time spyware and i my firewall has an incorporated 'ad-blocker' and 'pop-up blocker' however even if i turn those on or off, i still get the pop-up messages and they still dont work!
