Are they still touching?

Are two photons generated in a hypothetical accelerated relativistic reference frame still touching due to Lorenz contraction despite being separated by large distances.?

As observed from...? Travelling in what direction relative to the source? How do you know they are separated (or not)?

In other words, can two santa clauses born from the same accelerating womb be touching each other even though they live in different poles?

Please reformulate :)

I assume you mean that both photons are emitted at the same time, but are the emitted in opposite directions? Is the source doing the measurements? How does the observer measure each photon's position? Why do you assume they were touching in the first place and why assume they should move apart?
