Bah. Some nice high explosives will clear the ice far more easily. And you won't ever have to take care of your steps again, since you have none.

i wouldnt agree actually. high explosives arent good for melting ice. im thinking of making a nice sucrose/potassium chlorate torch tho ;p

Sounds better than my idea of blowing the ice off with a 5kg pack of TNT.
