HELP! NEED TO DESIGN experiments to test A DRUG ! - molecular bio

Featured Replies

So imagine that you have a new drug that makes humans learn better.

This drug that you have can work on receptors at synaptic terminals, but does not necessarily have to.

You have to determine what are the proteins that this drug works on.

To prove this you need to design 5 sets of experiments that test this. Experiments can be independent or it can be one experiment that builds on itself.

----I was thinking of using fluorescent technology to show that the protein dealing with the drug is activated in brain...

or maybe since the drug does not have to to work on receptors at synaptic terminals, then maybe i can use a reporter gene to show the expression of the protein dealing with the drug in a certain area of the body - "dealing with learning"

You guys have any ideas? because i am totally stuck...

ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED!!!!

Weird question for a homework assignment. What's it for?

Thought about using the blood brain barrier to reduce the number of potential proteins responsible for the effect?
