Anyone here buy the New Scientist magazine? Are there any other good ones?

I do. I love it.

 

If you're looking for others, it also depends on what depth you're looking for. Either the raw reports by the scientists themselves, or a report on the report. New Scientist is the latter. Scientific American may be good for that, I think... I have only occaisonally seen it though, so I may not be right.

maybe i should, it'd be interesting, but i dont at the moment.

I buy it on and off, but I'm getting a year's subscription this Christmas so I voted yes. :)

My one reservation is their tendency to pursue an overtly political agenda, but I'll buy an occasional copy to read on the 'plane. I prefer Scientific American, but the two are really different in character and intent: New Scientist does focus on news.

I might go and get a copy of Scientific American then, probably have to go whsmith doubt they sell it in asda!
