Considering it's the Christmas Season, and one of his most beloved roles was in a Christmas film, I thought it would be nice to mourn.

 

Roberts Blossom, aka Old Man Marley from Home Alone, died this year at the age of 87. It was devastating for me to find out what happened to Roberts.

 

For those of you who didn't now, Roberts was married twice, and is survived by daughter Debbie and son Michael.

 

Among his other famous roles included Guernsey in Arthur Hiller's The Hospital in 1971, George LeBay in Christine, and Doc in Escape from Alcatraz.

 

I personally remembered him best as Old Man Marley, with his heartwarming scenes together with Macaulay Culkin.

 

Roberts will be missed by his friends and family alike.
