Flu

The symptoms may have been flu-like, but for it to come and go so quickly, it probably wan't flu. You may have just had an acute idiopathic infection.

Sometime people can respond to flu immunisation by presenting acute flu symptoms some hours after having the jab. These usually pass overnight though.

I think the flu vaccination is a big scam on the public. The media tries to make every1 afraid that they will be "infected" if they don't get the shot. The truth is that the older people, and the younger children will need if because of their weak immune systems. The average person will be just fine with a week of rest and some good ol' chicken noodle soup.

In the 1918-1919 flu epidemic between 25,000,000 and 40,000,000 people died. If the same percentage of the population were to die in a pandemic today, that would be between 90,000,000 and 145,000,000. The highest mortality rate in 1918/19 was among those aged 20 to 40. Scam? You just keep taking that chicken soup. You'll be fine.

I wish doctors would have separate waiting rooms for people with colds and flu from those who are there for routine physicals or traumatic injuries. There is no sense in putting well people in close proximity to a bunch of sick ones.
