CGI Proxys

Featured Replies

Ok, my school runs a tight ship. I need some CGI proxys in order to get some research done.

They've blocked most of the most common ones-

does anyone have any links?!

HELP! Thanks!

well there are a few things - but they are all the main ones so will probably be blocked, just checking, when you say CGI proxy do you mean as in a Common Gateway Interface proxy - or do you mean like a Computer-Generated Image proxy (no such thing, but maybe you want one which can open images or something!)?

http://megaproxy.com/freesurf/

(thats the free one, you have a limit - or you could pay for unlimited access)

alternatively you could get a program such as process viewer:

http://www.teamcti.com/pview/

and take it into your school open the file (only 1 .exe file needed, rest is helpy stuff + its a small file - will fit on a floppy or USB key) open it up and disable your security (effects will take place until you log off the network, then on log on (next person or you) security will auto-start-up again) obviously if you have a clever system they could catch you, but nothing will stop you! that program is very good and until we got a much more advance security system i used the safely to disable security - nowadays i could, but would be caught!

lol, well the first one is blocked @ school, but the second one will surely be stopped by nazi librarians who partol the media center, you just always have to make something up like- this site is for a project, or current event :)

just go to the second site download it (takes two seconds) - the file is tiny - it doesnt need an instal (its a zip which unzips to an exe and some help rubbish) just unzip the exe file to your account or desktop and run it, its just like a little popup windowy thing like windows task manager, just minimise it and bring up a word document when the librarian comes!

with blocked sites, sometime removing the www. or http:// bit works, try all variations (with both of em, only one etc).

Anyone else have a good one? Ive found that they keep very close tabs on the comps here, so of course there will be a ban on most anything that gets too popular here at school. (mainly ways around their bans) :)
