how many different forms of chloroethane are possible with the formula C2 H6-n Cln (hope the formula is clear)?? The examiner reports say 9 but when I try working it out... i get only 8. Can anyone decipher the 9th chloroethane by that formula?? thnx

1) CH3-CH2Cl

2) CH3-CHCl2

3) CH2Cl-CH2Cl

4) CH3-CCl3

5) CH2Cl-CHCl2

the last compund: CCl3-CCl3 << is this really a 'chloroethane'?? Isn't ethane supposed to have at least one C-H ??
