Anyone got any, or links to some?

Just kind of something I want to do for fun, and perhaps throw a few youtube videos up of the experiment and its results. I'm a college student, so I'd appreciate if cost of the materials for the experiment were under $50usd or at least reasonably close to it :P

Not looking for anything in particular, just looking for a few ideas.

Thanks for the help guys!

If you wanted to perform a simple pH identification lab - use red cabbage indicator. Break off some pieces and boil in water (preferably distilled) until the color leaches out. Let it cool, and use a dropper to test common household objects. You may wish to soak white paper in the cabbage juice and allow it to dry - creating an indicator paper that could be used to test other substances.
