Parts for my compter?

Featured Replies

I want to build a computer, for gaming, but i dont need anything that is gunna run 500 fps on ultra high graphics xD I just want something that will run smoothly while playing World of Warcraft or similar games, and if anyone knows about the new game Rift coming out, i want to be able to run it smoothly.

I know a little bit about computer hardware, but nothing at all about the programming, so if anyone knows anywhere that can help me, thats be great. I know a website called ibuypower.com but i was wondering if anyone knows of something a bit cheaper.

:D

When it comes to computer parts newegg is one of the best. Since you aren't looking for anything crazy then I would suggest any amd quad core chip(anything above a 2.3ghz will do), they're extremely cheap! obviously 4 gigs of ram(DDR3 will be fine) would be a must. Look into getting a graphics card with dedicated ram. Thats basically all you will need for gaming, the rest is trivial.

Get any Nvidia graphics card with 1GB video ram. If it don't suit your pocket go for some cheap alternatives.
