Electric discharge in the Universe?

Featured Replies

There are many electrons in the Universe. I'm curious about the electric discharge in the Universe. Some place this phenomena would happen.

In the planet scale , I've heard,in Saturn and Jupiter have many lightning. But, Are there more big scale lightning can not happen in the Universe?

For example, stellar scale or Galaxy scale lightning.

Let's think about these case.

When two planets are approaching certain distance each other, and they have different electric charge and highly charged, what kind of thing would happen?

From highly charged planet to lowly charged one electric discharge would be happen.

Other case, some dense interstellar medium is highly charged cause of being exposed to the cosmic ray, if a planet or a comet is approaching them, I think, huge amount of electric discharge would happen.
