ok so i have a chance to buy some potassium but in order to get a good deal i have to buy more then i need, so i was wondering if anyone here would be interested in buying some at $5 a gram, i have all the hazmat containers so that wont cost you extra just the actual cost to ship it

the cheapest i could find was $1,200 for a thousand grams

 

with small amounts the shipping is what kills you, you have to pay the retailer for the meta paint type can, the inner bottle which must also be bagged and then just the actual extra cost of shipping a hazmat item.

 

....hell when i bought my cesium from alfa the shipping cost more then the actual 1 gram ampule

meh, i just looked up sigma aldrich. you can usually find hobby suppliers that will supply the chemicals at a similar price except on stuff that requires stuff like low temperature storage and what not.

not sure what it's like i nthe states but here in th UK hobby suppliers will usually sell at only slightly higher prices than sigma aldrich(sigma only supplies organizations)

i just clicked on the first link on the sigma search that was $108 for a gram

 

here is one for 20 grams for 62.xx but i bet after shipping and hazmat it would be clost to if not more then the $100 shipped i asked for

 

plus they dont sell to individuals.
