Is there any way to concentrate dilute nitric acid to its azeotropic concentration of 68% by freezing rather than distillation? That is, would either the water or the azeotrope solidify out, leaving behind the other in liquid form?

Although I haven't tried this method, I read that Magnesium Nitrate (trihydrate) is a good method to dehydrate HNO3. Check out this link:

I saw nitric acid mixed with phophoric acid today at Rona léntrepot it's 24$ for 4 litres I want to know if I can seperate the 2 acids. Perhaps by distilling them.
