har har i'd definately go for a conc acid over water. the reaction with my supersaturated HCl would be so explosive that it would probably kill me if i added as little as 1g of it. i'd need a 20 foot pole!

what is the 20ft pole made outta? lets guess:

mercury

an ex-atomic reactor control rod!

and all the norms:

francium

cesium

potassium

etc etc.!

nah i was thinking of a stainless steel pole with the cesium at the end so i wouldn't blow myself up

really, i would never have thought that!!!! [sarcastic!]

why dont you try switching at which end the cesium is..... and see what happens?

Umm.... cesium will explode on contact with air too. Instant oxidation anyone?

it doesn't explode. i've seen it react with water. i've seen it react with air. it just tarnishes instantly on contact with air. no flames or explosions.
