Rearranging

Featured Replies

Manipulate the equations:

1. (w/v) = (g/(v-w)) to get 1/v + 1/w = 1/g

2. (w - g) = f²(1/(v-g)) into 1/v + 1/w = 1/g

Please give me solutions so that I can compare them to the other similar questions. Thank you.

Anyone...?

I'm sure it's obvious that we don't want to give you the full solutions. Teachers assign homework for a reason and it's not our place to undermine that.

Hows about you tell us how far you've gotten? Oh, and maybe check if there's some information you're missing.

Thanks for your help...not.

I have several more questions like this to do, but I don't know where to start. I need solutions so that I can attempt to emulate the method in the other questions...

Take reciprocals, partial fractions, yadda yadda - copying a method isn't going to help you with new questions nor is it going to help you learn anything. And seriously, look back at your textbook.

Alternatively, just trying being sarcastic to your teacher and see where that gets you.

Thanks for your help...not.

Just giving you the answers is not helping you.
