Bush plan looks to drop National forest logging ban

Get this guy out of office. He doesn't care about the goddamned environment. Destroying forests seems like such a bad idea on a time scale. The U.S. is using so much timber lately and I have no idea why. Can't we just all have houses made of stone or something? They'd last a lot longer!

WELL, that's definently going to change my vote.(even though I'm only twelve) By the way, that was not sarcastic.

i never knew bush owned a Timber Company

Apparently Bush didn't know either...

Trees are a renewable resource. The forests should not be clear cut, but certainly need thinning and the underbrush cleared and made into pulp. Proper management is of utmost importance.

That's great if the only part of woodland/forest ecosystems you're interested in is whether or not there are trees there.

It's not so great if you actually want the ecosystem to survive.
