Could someone please tell me how alcoholic hand gel works? I know it's something to do with alcohol dehydrating the bacteria but could you explain it in more scientific detail?

Alcohol denatures proteins. It also screws with the cellular structure of bacteria. I believe that's the case. :eyebrow:
