Does the immune system neutralise the toxin created by the bacteria or does it only neutralise the bacteria. Or is it both? Thank you :)

It's both, though it depends somewhat on the nature of the toxin. Some simple toxins may be dealt with more by detoxification at the liver or just flushing them out via the kidneys.
