Unlike the last thread about this' date=' I'd like to discuss just how possible the theories are.

Here are some links:

A google search (the result first is the best)

Another google search

Three theories:

1.God will be p*ssed at us and start the armageddon.

2.Hit by asteroid

3.self-annihalation, through weapons, genetics, plauge, and the like. :)

isn't that an oxymoron?

i mean god should be all loving and all caring and forgiving, or is he?

i do use it pretty often. especially in the last 2 years, i've used it at least every other weekend.

dunno if that counts, but that is where i like to practice my anatomy drawings ;)

taken from the Hebrew word: "Har Maggadon". IIRC it was a Mountain or something to do with a mountain?

By the way, does "end of the world" mean the end of human civilisation, the destruction of the planet, or something else?

good point, I think I made exactly the same distinction in another thread several months ago that was of a similar ilk.

Har Meggido. It's Mount Megiddo in Jerusalem, the mountain where Solomon's stable's are. God stated (I don'tremember precisely where, sorry) that since it's standing on a very strategic place in the enterance of jerusalem, one day there will be the war of Light and Darkness there, THE war of all wars.

That's where it's coming from :)

beautiful place, by the way. Just on the bottom of it you look at Jerusalem's wall and it's quite mystical and very very beautiful. You should come over and visit ;)
