Where is the best place to stay up to date on the latest scientific discovers and news for free. I know about sciencedirect.com but they are extremelly expensive $30 for a single journal.

 

All help is appreciated

A university library is pretty good. They'll have most of the major journals in print, and alot of old ones you won't get online.
