Calcium Chloride and Chlorine

I have been having some trouble with my pool. I have been told that I have to raise the calcium level in my pool by adding calcium hardner. However, when i do this the Chlorine is dissapearing. Does anyone know if there is a certain chemical reaction that these two are having?

yeah, calcium chloride has limited solubilty in water and is probably crashing out on the surface of your pool

limited yes, but it`s over twice as soluble as sodium chloride, and so I don`t think that`s the case here :)
