feel free to say the price per any other measurement if its easier

It's $0.59 per Lb. on the commodities market, having fallen considerably over the past year.

It peaked in 2008 at $1.20.

 

($0.59 per pound is about $0.26 per Kg)

you messed up your unit conversions. how can 2.2 lbs of aluminium be cheaper than 1 lbs

 

$1.30 per kilogram
