Good afternoon,

 

Hopefully someone could point me in the right direction. I need to build a Cathode Ray Tube for my Chemistry class and truthfully, I have no idea where to begin. I understand the concept but I can't find a website that shows exactly what materials to buy and how to put them together. I've found several websites that show CRT's but none show a step by step process on how to build one. I am looking to build a relatively simple CRT. Any comments or ideas? Thanks,

cathode ray tubes arent hazard free... be careful. I'd give you some advice but i havent a clue how to build them. Remember, though that that beam of electrons is NOT entirely safe.
