Hi, just wondering if anyone knew if it is possible to get any sort of job in the computer technology sector without a college diploma or university degree, but instead having certifications like a bunch CompTIA certifications in different things?

 

Anybody currently working in the computer technology sector that could give any advice? Specifically networking and linux operating systems are some of my interests, but I'm not sure if I want to go back to college. As I am a fan of learning and gaining knowledge for myself, but not so much a fan of school. I would rather start collecting certifications in things that interest me, and am just wondering if I could get a good job with this kind of education?
