I agree wholeheartedly with Dr. Paul on this aspect of his platform. Corrections occur naturally and there are just too many unknowns to accurately predict the future and constantly make adjustments to try and compensate for unknown factors. It is impossible. A drop in value of anything happens for a reason and trying to manipulate such an idea always has repercussions somewhere else.

 

It reminds me of this joke that my economics professor once told me. This president says,

 

All I ever wanted to do is to find a one-handed economist. Because they always say, 'On the one hand, this will happen, but on the other hand, this will also happen.'
