Difference of Inheritance?

Featured Replies

I keep getting these mixed up...

any way to help separate them? give characteristics would be most helpful.

I'm not sure what you mean by multiple inheritance here. Are you referring to autosomal linked heritability perchance? Where by genes are inherited in tandem beacuse of their physical location on the chromosome?

As for sex-linked, this refers to genotypes or phenotypes that occur in specific patterns beacuse they are located on the sex chromosomes. IIRC thorax colour in Drosophila melanogaster is an example of a sex-linked phenotype, as is haemophilia in humans.
