freshwater
Hi, does anyone know at what minimum temperature magnetite is formed from ironoxide (in water with low-oxygen content)? Is it possible that Magnetobacter can play a role in this process?
dom3mo
Are you trying to make magnetite?
freshwater
No, I found what I think to be magnetite in a closed cooling circuit (with no evaporation). I know in hotwater/boilersystems it is possible, but I wonder if it is possible in cold water circuit (20 oC max)
