Logic, Reasoning Question #2

Featured Replies

Do you know the answer?

And do you know the ad?

This example was in a full page mag as which appeared in many 'slick' magazines during summer 02.

Two young girls apply for jobs with a local business which is hiring. The manager doing the hiring notices that the two girls have the same last name, and look absolutely identical. Not only do they look exactly alike, they are even wearing dresses of the same style and color, and have the same accessories and hair style. When asked, the girls explain that indeed they are born at the same time and place, to the same parents. "They you two girls are identical twins?" the manager asks. The girls both laugh. One says, "We get asked that a lot. No, we are not twins at all!" What was the relationship of the two girls?

(BTW, what do you think was being advertise, if the advertisement was a full page picture of the two girls, who looked ABSOLUTELY IDENTICAL, with the logic puzzle stated (but not answered) in small type at the bottom of the photo? There was also a corporate logo. What kind of very large corporation would find advertising relevance in a logic puzzle?)

I have the answer!!!! Just have no clue what ad. Any suggestions.

It sounds like an advert for the film AI. Then the girls would be robots.
