sinusitis?

Featured Replies

my wife suffer from a pain around her eyes and she always think that this is sinusitis. can anyone tell me what are the symtoms for such a case

If it is sinusitis the sinuses are usually noticeably tender when you tap on them with your finger tip, but that is not totally reliable.

The typical symptoms for sinusitis are pain and pressure in the face, and runny and stuffy nose! And also you could have yellow (and greenish) discharge from the nose. The location of pain is the best way to find the reason for sinusitis. The pain behind the eyes, head or in both temples is probable to have been caused by sphenoid sinus inflammation!

Some other very common symptoms of sinusitis are:

1.Fever

2. Tooth pain

3.Headache

4.Stuffy nose

5.Bad breath

6.Reduces sense of taste

7.Geenish and yellow discharge

8.Reduced sense of smell etc.
