while buying yhe computer, the expert told me 2 check 4 earthing in my house. how should i check it, what if i dont have a spike guard or stabilizer, will it damage my computer

a 3 pin socket, Live, Neutral and Earth.

the Middle one is the Earth (even in America).

 

with a multimeter on the AC setting (at the correct Voltage setting also) you can test from this center pin to either of the other 2.

one will give you your line voltage (120 or 240 VAC) the other will give you Nothing at all beyond a few mV.

anything above a few Mv and you have an Earth leak.
