Would this catalyste be able to be used in conjunction with thermite to create a higher burning tempature?

oh and no V2O5 will actually Lower the temp, for a hotter thermit you need to change your metals entirely, Cr2O3 is a good and Hot oxidiser, Zirconium also has a Very High flame temp.

Which thermit? there are Dozens.

 

and please use Centigrade or Kelvin, Farenheit is Redundant/meaningless here.
