ecoli
Ive noticed a strange phenomenon. The snow falling on the SFN logo is a lot faster on my lab computer, which is a Mac OS X safari web browser, than on my home computer, Windows XP firefox. any explanation for the snow falling at different rates? Cap'n Refsmmat
It's just a wacky GIF rendering problem. I think we'll be taking off the logo soon enough anyway.
ecoli
It's just a wacky GIF rendering problem. So would that be a browser thing or an OS thing?
Cap'n Refsmmat
Presumably a browser thing. When I watch the animation, it actually "stutters" - it stops for a fraction of a second randomly.
