Prednisone and aggressive behavior???

Well I have a been diagnosed with a minor auto-immune disorder (runs in the family) and have been taking Prednisone for about a month. I've noticed that I'm much more on edge lately and I go off on people very quickly. This isn't normal as I usually let things that annoy me slide.

 

My Mom has been on a pretty high dose of Prednisone in the past and my Dad has described her as being down right mean during the period. Family friends on the same drug have described the same experience.

 

Anyone have any experience/advice here as I don't won't to piss off everyone I know. Believe me, I've done a pretty good job at being pissy over the last couple of weeks. :D

No personal experience but you're right mood swings are a very common side effect of Corticosteroids such as prednisone.
