How do you make 0.05 M Acidified copper (II) Nitrate Solution?

Featured Replies

Does anyone know how to make 0.05 M acidified copper (II) nitrate solution from concentrated HCl and Copper (II) Nitrate solution?

You have to know the molarities of the initial solutions of HCl and Cu(NO3)2

there`s not enough data in the question to give a meaningfull answer.

personaly I`de start from Absolutes, such as Crystalising the copper nitrate, that at least gives you something of a basis to work from as it`s concentration is Known.

you`de have to titrate the HCl to find out its concentration also.

when you know these, then the rest is fairly simple :)
