Hi everyone!

 

I was just assigned a submarine project. We need to design a submarine that will:

1. Float

2. Subsurface Float (Below Surface. Not touching top of water and touching bottom)(Must subsurface float for 5 sec.)

3. Sink

4. Float Again

 

The project is due next Tuesday (December 16th) and there are very little details on what you can use. I am focusing on using a bottle, coins, and air tubing, and air holes drilled into the side of the bottle. I think I have a working idea but it needs improving. If you have any ideas/hints/comments about this project I would appreciate it. Thanks!
