I hang out at the R/C heli fourms and many of us think that the price of Heli fuel is way to high. Can anyone here give me and them a way to homebrew some fuel for our R/C heli's for a lower cost. Right now i think its going for about 10 to 30 dollars a gallon depending which country you live in.

you could make your own cheaper sure, it`s basicly only 3 ingredients, only problem is, one of them no one would sell to you though namely the Nitro-Methane, the castor oil and methanol you could source out quite cheaply though :)

you could always buy the 25% MN racing fuel and dillute it to standard use 15% MN fuel :)

might save you a few pennies :)
