the astroplane

It's a word right?

I don't seem to find anything relating to it on google right away.

Hmm. Am I the only one that knows of this term?

I think you mean "The Astral Plane". This is related to a "higher existence" state people that practice meditation believe to be a representation of the world through pure energy.

Instead of presenting "matter" - things are presented through their energetic state, and it is believed among some of the meditation doers that if you reach that "state" or "plane" then your consciousness can 'travel around' great distances, effectively projecting yourself (or, your consciousness, rather) into places you are not physically in.

There are no "walls" or "barriers" in the astral plane, only energy.

Is that what you meant?

I thought that was the spaceship The Flash flew... or was that Orgasmo... I'm not sure, I heard they both sucked.

sounds a bit like This plane really :)

Or maybe he meant asto (as in astronautical) plane (as in areoplane), which would of course be an entirely pointless device that wouldn't do anything.

Sounds an awful lot like perfectly normal, post-high-school physics.
