Over the summer I plan to do some research in mathematics, but I am not sure which specific topic I should choose. I am looking for a topic that requires a lot of theoretical thinking, and can be useful in further research. Basically, my goal is to contribute something to the mathematicians of the world, whatever I can, which will be beneficial for every1~

 

Do you guys have any ideas in mind? What are your thoughts about this "wild" idea?

Wouldn't looking at what you've already studied and found interesting help you find what you'd like to look into next?
