Hi all!

 

I'm looking for a new language too learn and I am wondering if someone can point out the advantages of learning C# over VB.NET...

 

Either way I will probably learn both but just looking too see which has the most features, flexability and power. If anyone has ANY insight, personal experience etc. with either of the languages please post and let me know which you think is the best one to learn.

 

Also note, I already know some variations on C and VB as well as some others.

Right, do you have any feature comparison information between C# and C++? I know C++ so i want to know if there are many differences and simmilarities

well C# is a C bassed language so it is similar. But it is strickter to the OOP way of thinking... I can't say much more than that, never done much of either (more C# than C++ though).

The people I know who write professional windows apps in .NET are all changing all of their codebase over to c# slowly, a good sign...
