Im wondering if this is even worth it. I live in the US so i dont even know if i can get my hands on one of these or not. Im thinking with the 1 watt transmitter i can get probaly 5 miles out of it. Seems nice, the software controlled frequency thing sounds cool. Do you think it has good drivers?

If i could i dont think i would buy this in fear of crap drivers. Nontheless, very interesting piece of hardware.

it might be an idea to check with the FCC regarding it`s legality first, unlicenced broadcast on those frequencies is not allowed in most areas unless it`s below a certain output power.

i suspect that if i bought it, it would spend a few months getting dusty before i ould be bothered to install it.

PS. isn't that an american site?

Im not sure if it is.I would nbe nice to use at a friends lan party or somethign so yo udont have to carry around speakers. You could always build one, but to get a stereo one is extensive, and would cost alot. Im curious, how easy is it to get caught for illegaly broadcasting radio? Im not looking into any of this but Ive always been curious as to how they can find you. Do they just find the signal's source with liek a meter?

normaly they get tipped off by a complaint, then it`s simply a case of using a field strength meter to track you, really doesn`t take all that long at all :)

Is that one of those things they use to find lets say a bear with a tracking device?'
