I wanted to create a website to publically host all of my original essays and writings which until now have scattered all over USENET and forums all over the internet. Google "free web templates" and you get excellent sites such as supremetemplates for thousands of free pre-made templates (you have to keep a link underneath for copyright reasons though). To make your web URL less long, I highly recommend DOT TK. It allows you to create a short domain name such as yoursite.tk. The website is http://www.dot.tk.
