and proof that 0.9999....=1

You can of course write in English even though most of it is already written in another language, but everyone there understands English.

Why have the Norwegian philosopher Alpha offered this kind of money?

It is needed to proof that it can't be 1, because the universe is virtual reality and humans have non-physical soul.

It has been showed that the world is not mehanical in amongst other things the Aspect-experiment, and there is something that lies beneath it all, like a computer that controls what is going on on a monitor screen. What you see around you are particles (minimal parts) like produced by a monitor. What it doesn't control is human will.

I will post this in philosophy section too.

Spread the words to your friends and everybody else.

$50.000?

That must be at least £1...

He's Norwegian. I'm not sure about Norway, but many European countries use a "." as a "," in their numbers. Although you are still technically correct that $50,000 is at least £1. ;)

It doesn't matter what the amount is. If he's not satisfied with all other proofs, he's not going to be satisfied with anything. It's a rhetorical offer.

Keep reading the thread. Some English speaking person just posted his proof. We'll have to wait for Alphas' return. It's holiday :)
